Alex Small

Alex is a 3rd-year History student with a minor in French as a second language. Alex first got involved in Model United Nations in his high school in Thunder Bay, where he helped chair debates and almost always represented his native country, the United Kingdom. The reason why he joined MUNA (Model United Nations Association) during high school and at UOttawa, was his passion for international politics and drive to understand how global mechanisms i.e. WHO, work. This year Alex looks forward to welcoming both our reoccurring members but also some new faces as well, to working with our exec team in managing any external affairs and relations, and ensuring that we can enjoy ourselves as well.
Outside of MUNA, Alex enjoys quite a bit of sport, but prefers running and sailing. Other hobbies include coin collecting, watching films with friends, being the biggest Star Wars nerd in the room, and reading the occasional novel or non-fiction.
